Under our Poverty Alleviation pillar, we have assisted female entrepreuers and women-led households before, during and after COVID restrictions. Project: The Caribbean Experience in Italy
 

On 08 October 2022, our organization collaborated with Italian photographer,
Francesco Viegi for a project called The Caribbean Experience in Italy. The Caribbean Experience is a photo exhibition with a two-fold objective:

The first objective is to highlight the plight of violence against women. The photos on display will be a collection of abuse survivors and other women. The goal is to creatively show that anyone can be a victim of abuse and it would be near impossible to detect. In essence, “you never know what people are going through.” Therefore, we should treat all our women equally with love and respect.

The second objective is to promote our country using an exhibition of photography to portray the life experience of Francesco Viegi during his 3-year stay in Trinidad and Tobago through images of people, landscape and lifestyle.
